Saturday February 22nd 2014 – Very good surfing in Santa Teresa today. The Swell peaked last night and was fading fast today. Waves were in the shoulder to head high, and conditions were nice and clean. Some fun rights rolled in at Suck Rock, the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary.
Friday February 21st 2014 – SSW swell started to fill in and there was good surfing in Santa Teresa and nearby breaks. Waves were head high, reaching overhead on the bigger sets and conditions were clean and glassy. Some fun waves rolled in at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Again low tide was closing a bit, but it was much better with the high tide.
Thursday February 20th 2014 – Surf was fair today in Santa Teresa. Waves were in the chest to shoulder high range and conditions clean and glassy. However, there were many closeouts at the beach break and few long open rides. It was better with the higher tide, when some nice waves rolled in at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Few signs of the new incoming swell that it’s taking long to fill in.
Wednesday February 19th 2014 – Surfing in Santa Teresa was very good late this morning at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Early morning was good but waves were closing out a bit. As the tide continued to drop, some outer banks started breaking and there were many long and playful waves at the beach break. Conditions were clan and water glassy with good offshore wind. Some forerunners of the new SSW swell that is building in, showed up late in the afternoon. Wave size was in the chest high range in the morning with sets over the shoulder in the afternoon.
Tuesday February 18th 2014 – Surf was fair today in Santa Teresa. There was some energy on the waves that were chest to shoulder high, but the tide came down too fast and the waves were closing out this morning at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Hotel. Light offshore wind and clear glassy water helped a bit for some few very nice rides. Afternoon was a bit choppy but better, with more open waves and some very fun ones!
