Empty Wave Santa Teresa Costa Rica

This is Toro from Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School with your Santa Teresa Surf Report for this week. This is the surf report for Santa Teresa and nearby breaks Playa Hermosa, Playa Carmen and Mal Pais, located in the South Nicoya Peninsula in the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

This past week,September 19th / September 25th, surf was very good in Santa Teresa and nearby breaks. We had a very nice SW/SSW swell on the end of the week with waves in the overhead and a half to double overhead range at exposed breaks. The point break upfront Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School was working very well on Friday with lots of long and steep walls running in. It continued on the weekend with less large sets but more consistent conditions.

Monday: Fun surf at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School. Waves were on the waist to chest high range with clean conditions and lots of fun rides.

Tuesday: Surf remained on the waist to chest high today. The afternoon was very user friendly with mushy very long rollers coming all the way in. glassy conditions and lots of fun at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School

Wednesday: New swell slowly starts to show up. waves were on the chest to shoulder high range. Conditions nice and clean in the morning and fun surf at the beach break.

Thursday: Long period SW/SSW swell built through the day. We got overhead surf at many breaks with decent exposure, while good spots are a couple to a few feet overhead. Standout spots see sets up to double overhead.

Friday: The long period SW/SSW swell peaked and the point break upfront Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School was working very well with overhead and a half to double overhead sets. The beach break was strong and hollow.

Saturday: Good long period SW/SSW Swell continued with epic waves over the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Hotel!! Conditions were good and clean all day, especially n the early afternoon, when the wind totally stopped and the water went perfect glass. Long well standing walls rolled all the way in, sometimes letting you connect 7 or 8 turns before getting into the beach break. Long waits too.
