This is Toro from Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School with your Santa Teresa Surf Report for this week. This is the surf report for Santa Teresa and nearby breaks Playa Hermosa, Playa Carmen and Mal Pais, located in the South Nicoya Peninsula in the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Surf was very good this past week, July 17th/24th. We had a not too big and well directioned swell with waves reaching overhead and a half size when the swell peaked on Thursday. The waves were slowly getting bigger every day since Monday until then, each day like a foot larger. Good conditions prevailed all week and surf was really fun at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School. As the swell filled in and the waves got larger, the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School started working and it was excellent by Thursday. It worked all day long, with very long playful rides with the low tide and some hollow barrels over the rock at the high tide.

Monday: SW swell slowly started filling in and waves were on the chest to shoulder high range. Clean conditions and lots of fun and playful waves at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School.

Tuesday: The beach break was still working better than anywhere else, but as the swell was filling in further, some lines started to stack up and roll over the reef.

Wednesday: Swell moved in further and the there was more significant action over the reef and at the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School. Good conditions and lots of good waves.

Thursday: Excellent surfing in Santa Teresa on Thursday! New swell reinforcement from the SSW reached well overhead and both the beach break and the point break were working perfect. There were also many good waves in Playa Carmen, Playa Hermosa and it was epic at Sunset Reef in Mal Pais. the South facing point breaks were also working good. Waves were smaller there but pealing for very long distance.

Friday: The swell started fading earlier and dropped considerably. Good surf at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School. Conditions were clean and surf was fun.

Saturday: Swell continued to ease and size kept dropping. No more waves at the reefs nor at the point break. Nevertheless, the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School was very fun and user friendly.

Sunday: Wave size dropped considerably and waves were on the chest to shoulder high range. Conditions were good and surf was fun at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Costa Rica Surf School.
